Learning Picture is owned and run by Neil Livesey.

Neil was a teacher, head of department and adviser in Lothian Region and has over 20 years practical experience in education.

He has acquired his business experience through his work and business relationships with a number of commercial organisation including Apple UK, Compaq, Granada Learning, the BBC, Learning and Teaching Scotland and the Scottish Qualifications Authority.

During his extensive career he has always had the learner at heart, believing that education provided a looking glass for learners into the social, cultural, vocational and education world of tomorrow.

The world of education needs to evolve to suit the needs of learners. Teacher’s are critical in supporting this change but they too need to adapt to new methodologies and curricular initiatives. Learning Picture is at the forefront of educational ICT and the way it can help learners and teachers meet the demands of modern society.
